John 3:16-18, 16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 4. Romans 5:8, 8, but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 5.2 Corinthians, 5:21, 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 6. 1 Peter 3:18, 18, For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, 7. Romans 10:9-10, 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 9. Always be ready to give a [logical] defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope and confident assurance [elicited by faith] that is within you, yet [do it] with gentleness and respect. (1 Peter 3:15) 3. I love the Word, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." (Rom. 1:16) 4. It is inspired: "All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness" (2 Tim. 3:16). 5. It is truth: "The sum of Thy word is truth" (Psalm 119:151). 6. It makes free: "...If you abide (live) in My word, then you are truly disciples of mine; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). 7. It produces faith: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ". (Rom. 10:17) 8. It judges: "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Heb. 4:12).
